M-Agent is built by Randy Techs, a technology company in Ghana. We are a small team building software for the businesses around us. M-Agent is our main product.
Why We Built It
Mobile money agents are everywhere in Ghana, and they carry a large share of the country's daily financial activity on their shoulders. They also work with tools that have barely changed since mobile money started.
We watched agents work. The same picture came up again and again. A phone in one hand, a notebook in the other, a queue of customers waiting, and a different short code to remember for every network. When it gets busy, mistakes happen. A wrong digit sends money to a stranger. A screen that closes halfway means starting over with a customer who is already impatient. At the end of the day, the notebook has to be reconciled against a folder of messages, and that takes an hour that should have been rest.
None of those problems are unavoidable. They are just problems nobody had built a tool for.
So we built one.
The Problems We Set Out To Solve
A different short code for every network
Agents were memorising codes and menu paths for three networks. M-Agent reads the network from the number and handles the rest.
Endless menu navigation
Every customer meant walking the same menu from the beginning. M-Agent walks it for you.
Costly transaction errors
Wrong numbers, wrong amounts, and screens exited halfway through all cost real money. M-Agent removes the repeated manual entry that causes them.
No usable record keeping
Paper books get lost, damaged, and filled with entries nobody can verify. M-Agent records every transaction automatically with full details.
No way to verify what actually went through
Agents had no quick way to know which transactions succeeded. M-Agent tracks status on every record and updates it as confirmations arrive.
No view of the business as a whole
Agents knew what happened today only as a feeling. Analytics and Reports turns that into numbers.
What We Hold To
The agent comes first
Every feature exists because an agent told us they needed it. We build for the counter, not for a demo.
Your PIN is yours
M-Agent hands control back to you at the PIN screen, every single time. We do not see it, store it, or transmit it. This is not a setting. It is how the app is built.
Your data stays on your phone
Transaction records are stored on your device. We do not share data with third parties.
Free stays free
No feature is locked behind payment. We said this at launch and we mean to keep it.
We answer
When something breaks, you should be able to reach a human. Our WhatsApp line is a real line and we respond to it.

We are independent
M-Agent is not affiliated with any mobile money provider. We are not endorsed by, connected to, or officially associated with MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo, or any other telecommunications or financial services company.
We do not process transactions
M-Agent assists with menu navigation on your own device. Every actual transaction is processed by your mobile money provider, exactly as it would be if you dialled the code yourself.
M-Agent assists, you decide
M-Agent reduces errors, but you remain responsible for verifying transaction details before confirming. The app helps. You stay in control.
M-Agent does not make you an agent
M-Agent is built to assist people who are already registered mobile money agents. It does not register you as one. If you want to become an agent, contact MTN, Telecel, or AirtelTigo directly.
